Foxtrot Farm & Flowers is thrilled to return for a third year of Upstate Art Weekend with a group exhibition curated by Charlotte Woolf. This year’s show takes inspiration from Forest Euphoria: The Abounding Queerness of Nature, the forthcoming book by mycologist and author Patricia Ononiwu Kaishian. Continuing our exploration of queer ecologies, embodiment, and the interwoven relationships between people and land, the exhibition features works in photography, painting, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, and more.
Set on a working flower farm, the show invites visitors to engage with art in an immersive rural setting. Special events throughout the weekend will include an opening celebration, tattoo pop-ups, and a reading and book signing with Kaishian.
Participating artists include Catie Dillon, Lydia Goldbeck, Jacq Groves, Charlotte Bravin Lee, Phoebe Rotter, Heather Renée Russ, and Melinda Kiefer Santiago, with more to be announced.
Exhibition title coming soon—stay tuned!
